What is Salvation?

Salvation in Christianity refers to the belief that through faith in Jesus Christ, individuals can be saved from sin and reconciled with God. It is a central tenet of the Christian faith, emphasizing the importance of accepting Jesus as the savior and following his teachings to attain eternal life.

How to Receive Salvation

Receiving salvation involves acknowledging one's sins, repenting, and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. By confessing faith in Christ and committing to follow his teachings, believers can experience the transformative power of salvation and receive forgiveness for their sins.

The Promise of Salvation

The promise of salvation offers hope, redemption, and eternal life to all who believe in Jesus Christ. Through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, believers can find peace, purpose, and assurance of salvation, knowing that they are loved unconditionally by God.

Salvation

Romans 10:9

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

It’s just that easy.

The Lord desires all to be saved and to the knowledge of the truth. In His great love for us He says,

Matthew 11:28-30 NIV

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Even for those who are steeped in religion or who have been hurt or burned by a religion, the Lord beckons to you

Matthew 11:28-30 MSG

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

If you are ready to give your life to Christ, say this simple prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness.

I believe that you died for my sins and that you rose from the dead.

I turn from my sins and ask You to come into my heart and life.

I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In your name I pray, Amen.

IF YOU PRAYED THIS PRAYER,

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!!

Now, go after Jesus with all your heart, mind and soul.

Matthew 16:24

Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ All the law and the writings of the prophets depend on these two commands.”
